CIN-NANA-NUTTY GOODNESS!
This is one of my favorite staples- I probably make it at least once a week-It just has so much goodness packed into a delicious and comforting smoothie... It hits the high notes all the way around. Filled with fiber (bananas), protein (nuts and nut butter), glycemic-managing cinnamon and hidden antioxidants (flax and spinach!).... Its filling, its tasty, its good for you. Its just perfect.
Here you go... But be warned... its addictive!
- Very ripe organic bananas - (freeze the night before for extra thick goodness) - approx 1 1/2 per serving
- Trader Joes Organic Almond butter with added flaxseeds
- Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- Handful of organic spinach
- Organic Ceylon cinnamon-- couple of big shakes of this- if it looks like it might be too much, its probably perfect
- Toss in a couple of ice cubes, too- just for volume/texture/added water
